The Ruhr Power Cords are sophisticated high quality cables
giving your electronics the AC they are entitled to.
You are only satisfied with the best technology
resulting in an astonishing clarity?
- Design wise, the Ruhr Power Cords have both the hot
and neutral conductors spiraling around the inner group
of ground wires. The relationship between the hot and
neutral groups is fixed and non-changing, contributing
to one of Black Cable’s most basic design qualities:
consistency.
So, thanks to the best
technology, you get an astonishing clarity.
You want a significantly better dynamic contrast?
- As with all other Black Cable models the Ruhr Power
Cords use solid pure copper conductors with a particular
0.6 mm diameter. This prevents strand interaction, a
major source of distortion.
- Copper quality is critical because a conductor can
be considered a rail-guide for both the electric fields
within a conductor and for the magnetic fields outside
the conductor.
- The purity of the solid pure copper conductors
minimizes distortion as well as eliminates harshness and
greatly increases clarity.
So, thanks to the best technology, you get a
significantly better dynamic contrast.
You want an exceptionally clear, clean and dynamic
sound?
- The Ruhr Power Cords use solid polyethylene
insulation on both its hot and neutral conductors
because polyethylene not only is low-loss but also has
an easy-on-the-ear distortion profile. Thanks to the
solid polyethylene insulation, the Ruhr Power Cords have
a lot less of the out-of-focus effect that you will hear
with other insulation materials.
- The Ruhr Power Cords have identical conductors for
the hot and neutral sides.
- The Ruhr Power Cords use our special non-woven
taping to dampen spurious vibrations.
So, thanks to the best
technology, you get an exceptionally clear, clean and
dynamic sound.
You want 3D dimensionality?
- All solid pure copper conductors are individually
insulated with solid polyethylene so as to dampen
distortion.
So,
thanks to the best technology, you get 3D
dimensionality.
What are the differences between the two Ruhr
models?
- Ruhr 18 uses a precise (2 x 5) number of solid pure
copper conductors.
This model is especially suited for use with integrated
amplifiers, pre-amplifiers or sources.
- Ruhr 47 uses an optimized (2 x 13) number of solid
pure copper conductors. Additionally it features our
unique counter-spiraling design.
This model is especially well suited for use with power
amplifiers.
